When it comes to traditions, Linares is the "Magical Town" that has preserved the most.
This “cycling town” boasts a wealth of architecture that you can enjoy from the moment you arrive. Strolling through the main square and admiring buildings like La Botica Morelos or the Cathedral of San Felipe Apóstol is just the beginning of the experience.
Here you’ll find ice cream made the same way since 1901 and a bakery that has been sweetening the lives of Linarenses since 1917.
It’s also a town steeped in legends, and the locals are proud of that. So much so that at the Linares Museum, you can learn a little more about the famous “Witches of La Petaca.”
Not far from the main square is the Baños de San Ignacio Nature Reserve, home to the oldest living organisms: stromatolites.
Linares is a "Magical Town" that holds many secrets, and you'll have to visit it more than once to discover them all.
