The Best of the Guadalupe Expo Fair
Have you been there yet? Rate your experience!
We invite you to experience one of the most regal events around: the Expo Guadalupe.
It began in 1945 as the first livestock exhibition to be held outside the country's capital, and since then it has continued to grow, also hosting international livestock exhibitions.
You might ask, what makes this event so unique? Well, these days, in addition to being a livestock show featuring the best breeds of cattle for breeding, it’s also a fair where you can find EVERYTHING.

With your admission ticket, you have access to ALL the rides—you can ride as many as you like until you’re ready to call it a day. And when that happens, there are food stalls serving delicious food at great prices. You can find tasty trompo tacos (similar to pastor tacos, but a local specialty), grilled beef tacos, roasted potatoes with beef, and much more.

They also have the Jardín Cerveza, where you can enjoy completely free live music and dance your heart out until you can't dance anymore. That's where you'll find the best dancers showing off their moves—you're sure to pick up a few steps to impress everyone by dancing huapangos when you get home.

And if you want to be 100% in the spirit, don't worry—you'll also find a market here where, in addition to handicrafts, you can buy boots, a hat, and a denim shirt to really get into the swing of things.

The Guadalupe Expo Fair is only open seasonally. This year it opened on April 27 and will run through June 18, so you still have time to visit. Don't miss it! It's located in the municipality of Guadalupe; you can find the exact location here.
