This restaurant has other locations, but only the Jabalina in Monterrey’s Old Quarter is the original. You can sit in the dining room, with its high ceilings and plants, or on the patio, enjoying the lively atmosphere of the grill and bar. In any case, come hungry or with a group, as the dishes are hearty and perfect for enjoying a quiet moment outdoors, cocktail in hand. The menu is extensive, but don’t miss the arrachera tacos: three large flour tortillas with crispy cheese, chopped arrachera, and guacamole. The mixed pork rinds with guacamole and quesadillas are another surefire hit. Among the desserts, the carrot cake with salted caramel sauce and toasted coconut and cashew ice cream is simply irresistible.
