The Main Square in Juárez, Nuevo León, covering an area of approximately 8,000 square meters, is the historic, civic, and social heart of the municipality. Since its inception, it has served as a gathering place for the Juárez community, as it is home to the city’s main buildings and symbols of local identity.
Its history is linked to the founding of the town and the development of City Hall, which, together with the central bandstand, the monumental clock, and the Church of Our Lady of the Rosary, forms an iconic architectural complex. These elements reflect the urban tradition and evolution of Juárez over time.
Today, the plaza is home to the Juárez Arboretum, a green space featuring native plant species and an inclusive sensory trail that promotes environmental education and community interaction. The area is used to host cultural, culinary, and family events, establishing the plaza as a vibrant space that brings together history, nature, and community engagement.
