*The New Comic Tenorio* is an irreverent adaptation of Zorrilla’s classic that blends the essence of the original story—the wager between Don Juan and Don Luis, the seduction of Doña Inés, and the protagonist’s moral dilemma—with social satire, brimming with contemporary references and lighthearted humor.
The characters move through a period setting that includes references to the pandemic, everyday life, and the absurdities of Mexican reality, where comedy serves as both a critical mirror and a source of collective relief.
This time, they will bring to life the characters of *Tenorio Cómico 2025*. Ariel Miramontes, Raul Araiza, Freddy and German Ortega, Wendy Guevara, Karina Torres, Paola Suárez, Ricardo Margalef, Abelito, Hugo Alcántara (El Indio Bryan), Pepe Magaña, Jose Luis Guarneros (La maestra resurrección), Lenny Zundel, and a large ensemble that, through dialogue, sketches, and improvisations, turn the production into a show worthy of the theatrical tradition he himself has forged over more than 20 years on stage.
