It is the most iconic natural landmark of Monterrey, Nuevo León, known for its
silhouette shaped like a horse saddle. Designated a Protected Natural Area in 1991, it is
a must-visit destination for hiking, rock climbing, and panoramic views. It is ideal
for hiking, climbing, mountain biking, and panoramic photography, with highlights including
the trail to the old cable car, the hike to Pico Norte or Las Antenas, and a visit to
seasonal waterfalls during the rainy season
