Nuevo León

In honor of General José Silvestre Aramberri, soldier and hero of the Reform, comrade of Don Benito Juárez, distinguished politician and engineer, who served as Governor of the State of Nuevo León in 1859.

Aramberri is located in the southern part of the state of Nuevo León, at 24°49′ west longitude, at an elevation of 1,077 meters above sea level.

It borders Galeana and Iturbide to the north, Doctor Arroyo and Zaragoza to the south, Tamaulipas to the east, and Galeana and Doctor Arroyo to the west. It is approximately 300 kilometers from the state capital.
